Experienced Road Racing Outfit Expands Team for 2025 Isle of Man TT
The Roadhouse Macau team is set to expand from a one rider team to two as Brian McCormack returns for the 2025 Isle of Man TT
The owner of the Roadhouse Macau team, Brian McCormack, has signed David Datzer to compete in the Isle of Man TT alongside himself in 2025.
McCormack is a veteran when it comes to the Isle of Man TT after making his debut in 2010 and during that time he’s made a total of 59 starts. In 2024, McCormack went on to finish 10th in the Superbike race.
Roadhouse Macau will run BMW machinery across all the big bike races, meaning the Superstock, Superbike and Senior TT classes, but will switch to Triumph bikes for the Supersport category where he will compete under the Global Robots/PHR Performance name.
Alongside his big bike commitments on an M1000 RR and his Triumph duties in supersport, McCormack will switch to Aprilia machinery for the Supertwin races.
Datzer will join McCormack in competing for the same team across all classes and said this about the decision to add Datzer to the fold: “David and I got chatting a while back and I’ve always wanted to run a second rider and build the team up, so it didn’t take long to get everything in place.”
“We ran Davo [Johnson] briefly in the Supersport class last year and David’s already got to grips with the Global Robots/PHR Performance Triumph which will give him plenty more laps at this year’s TT.
“He’s never really had a good structure around him at the TT, so we’ll be able to pass on plenty of knowledge and experience to him.
“With a good environment and good people, it will be of great benefit to him so together with his own BMW’s, we’re confident he’ll have a highly successful TT 2025.”
