Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE gets new 'Evo' graffiti paint job
A new graphic design, inspired by street art, has been launched by Ducati for its 'fun bike', Hypermotard 950 RVE, for the 2024 model year.
A new paint job has been brought to the Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE, with a new street-art-inspired livery.
The Hypermotard might not be the most immediate model that comes to mind when thinking about Ducati, and its 937cc engine means it does not really fit in the standards of supermoto, either (hence Hypermotard).
Ducati markets the Hypermotard as its ‘fun bike’ (although if you ask Toad whether he ‘had fun’ on the Ducati Panigale V4 S he rode at Silverstone on the DRE Racetrack Academy, he’d probably admit to it), and the new ‘Graffiti Livery Evo’ paint option lives up to that, somewhat.
Inspired by street art, the ‘Graffiti Livery Evo’, specific to the Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE, uses water decals to create a “refined and complex graphic design,” according to a Ducati press release. The graphics themselves cover the whole bike, and feature “Hypermotard” and “RVE” branding, as well as two-tone red and black wheels.
In reality, the ‘Evo’ is much similar to the original ‘Graffiti’ livery, but in general is slightly darker with more use of black in the colour scheme.
The price also remains the same with the new ‘Evo’ graphics as with the previous livery, coming in at a base price of £13,395. The new graphics are also available on the 35kW version of the Hypermotard 950 RVE.
