Harley-Davidson’s Nightster motorcycle has suddenly become very, very cheap in the United States after receiving a price tag of just $9,999 (roughly £7,700).

There’s so far no mention of the UK and if a similar ‘low’ price will be in the offering but that’s exactly what American customers can take advantage of with the current Nightster model.

With the S and Special models also in the sports line-up from Harley-Davidson, both of which do feature a price for the 2025 model in the UK, the new Nightster is mechanically unchanged from its predecessor. It comes in two colourways, Billiard Grey and Snake Venom.

The latest Nightster is powered by the Revolution Max 975T V-twin engine that pumps out 91bhp and 72Ib-ft of torque. The bike’s design and styling also remains intact as it gets a solo seat, chopped fenders, twin rear shocks, a 19-inch wheel at the front and 17-inch at the rear.

Other standard equipment aboard the Nightster includes cast aluminium wheels, LED lighting, Brembo brakes which again carry over from the previous model, riding modes that feature Road, Rain and Sport, as well as traction control.

Additionally, customers can get an even sweater deal if they complete the Harley-Davidson Riding Academy course which would allow them to benefit from a 5.99 per cent APR finance deal, as long as the motorcycle is purchased within 180 days of the completion.

In a press release Harley-Davidson said: “Nightster motorcycle customers that have completed the Harley-Davidson Riding Academy Course or another approved accredited course are eligible for the Rider Training Graduates 5.99 per cent APR financing offer through Harley-Davidson Financial Services if the motorcycle is purchased within 180 days of course completion.”
