Is this Indian Electric Motorcycle Factory Working with Ferrari?
Ultraviolette appears to be working on a new electric scooter with none other than Automotive giants, Ferrari

Electric motorcycle brand Ultraviolette is said to be working with Ferrari on a brand-new scooter which could be unveiled this week.
It’s believed that Ferrari is involved in the new ‘high-performance’ electric scooter from Ultraviolette thanks to the startup company being backed by Exor N.V. - the firm that’s also behind Ferrari and Stellantis.
In 2022 Exor invested in Ultraviolette, adding to the company’s technology, product line-up, and long-term vision ideas. And what the backing has allowed Ultraviolette to do is flex its financial muscle and industry contacts as it continues to grow in the global EV world.
Ultraivolette has no shortage of models already within its range, starting with the flagship F77 as well as the F99 track bike that’s branded as the “The Fastest Indian”.
For its global market, Ultraviolette is already planning expansions across key regions, as it looks to widen its selection of dealers and service network. In line with that, the Indian company also wants to introduce further models to its range, all of which will be landing in Europe.
One of those new models will be the above-mentioned scooter, that’s been developed with Ferrari, which would be the first of its kind in the brand’s range, as it only features motorcycles currently.

Ultraviolette’s European expansion has already been impressive as in October 2024, the company secured L3e certification under UNECE regulations, which made its F77 Mach 2 road-legal in more than 40 countries.
Ultraviolette then showcased the bike at the 2024 EICMA trade show in Milan, where it also teased the new Concept X prototype. Priced at roughly £8,260, the F77 is currently available in two variants which go by the names Standard and Recon, giving riders in Europe an alternative to ICE-powered motorcycles.
The EV sector is rapidly growing and as such big brands like Honda and Yamaha have been putting greater emphasis on making their mark within it. That means Ultraviolette will have fierce competition going forward, but if you could ever sell the idea of an electric scooter to someone, then having Ferrari hop aboard the design and building process certainly won’t hurt.
