The Ducati SuperSport 950 has been overhauled ahead of 2021 with a fresh new look inspired by the flagship Panigale range, together with a host of new electronic riding aides to hone its dynamics.

With the V2 getting the Panigale treatment in 2019, this year it is the turn of the SuperSport 950 to take centre stage as Ducati rolled out its new sporting range in the latest of its web presentations that will unveil the full 2021 model line-up.

To bring it closer into line with its larger siblings, the SuperSport 950 wears the familiar hallmarks of the Panigale with its sunken headlights and furrowed ‘brow’ of LED headlights giving it a more aggressive appearance. The bodywork has also been given an update with new fins intended to keep a clean, slimline look.

Under the skin, Ducati has focused most of its attentions on upgrading the electronics package to help the SuperSport live up to its name on track, including the introduction of three riding modes - Sport, Touring and Urban - plus an electronic up and down quickshifter.

New aids include a Bosch 6-axis IMU that monitors the bike’s lean angle to ensure confidence-building stability when cornering, while a reduction in weight sees it tip the scales at feathery 184kg. Up front the SuperSport also received a new 4.3-inch full-TFT dashboard.

The standard Ducati SuperSport 950 is available in red, with the more dynamic focused Supersport S - which adds fully-adjustable Ohlins suspension - is available in Ducati red and Arctic white silk.

With the update coinciding with models across the Ducati range complying now with Euro5 regulations, the Testastretta engine continues to produce 110bhp and can be adapted for an A2 licence friendly variant.
