Kymco Ionex electric scooter launch

We're just about to head into a presentation for the new Kymco Ionex electric scooter, which is being launched in Tokyo today. And here's a quick teaser video for the event! It looks like it'll be streamed live too, so keep an eye out for me - I'll be the sleepy Scotsman in the crowd...

The video seems to show a new removable battery pack for the Ionex, which would make a lot of sense in places like London where people have to park in the street. Lift out the battery, like a giant rechargeable PP3, stick it on charge in the house overnight, and you're sorted. We'll find out exactly what Kymco has in store in the next couple of hours.
