Kymco's K-Pipe 125 in dealers
Bargain-priced beginner 125 arrives in the UK
TAIWANESE manufacturer Kymco has announced the UK release of its new naked 125, the 'K-Pipe'.
The 'K-Pipe' looks pretty striking for a budget 125, and comes with the tantalising low RRP of £1699. Kymco are marketing the bike firmly at the beginner, emphasizing short wheelbase, low seat height and light weight as key features.
It certainly looks good - modern naked looks are complimented by yellow-gold and white colour scheme and the mono-shock rear absorber, which is a nice touch. But what about the technical side?
The 'K-Pipe' features a 4-speed semi-automatic gear box, 17” spoked alloy wheels, and Kymco claim it is capable of 'well in excess' of 100 miles per gallon. Instruments-wise, it has a digital display with IC processor, showing fuel gauge, clock and speedometer.
New purchase generously includes a 2-year unlimited mileage parts and labour warranty.
Kymco have also announced that there is a 50cc version of the 'K-Pipe' in the 'pipeline' (sorry).
