Photos Leaked of an MV Agusta Superveloce Replica by QJMotor
After modelling two of its bike designs around MV Agusta, QJMotor now appears to working on a Superveloce replica
If you’ve made the mistake of seeing previous QJMotor designs and mistaking them for MV Agusta motorcycles, don’t worry, I’ve done the same. Chinese manufacturer QJMotor, known as Qianjiang, has a diverse selection of bikes mirroring concepts from other brands such as MV Agusta (most notably), Triumph and even Ducati.
Its SRV 200 looks eerily similar to a Ducati Scrambler, while inspiration from the QJMotor SRK 921 RR and the QJMotor SRK 1000 RC Ten 78, both of which made their debut appearance at the EICMA event in 2023, have technology from MV Agusta after being designed by ex MV Agusta employees Adrian Morton and Paolo Bianchi.
Specialists in smaller capacity bikes for many years, the shift to producing bikes such as the SRK 921 RR and SRK 1000 RC Ten 78, which are thought to be based around the F4 and Brutale 1000 RR from MV Agusta, and now there's a new kid on the block in the form of QJMotor’s SRK 921 SV, which looks inspired by the Superveloce.
A bit about the previous bikes - the SRK 921 RR has a toned-down body frame compared to MV Agusta’s machines, and pumps out 129bhp with peak power coming in at 10,000rpm. The bike is a V4 and because of its lower torque number compared to MV Agusta, the engine is believed to be an older engine with a softer state of tune.
The SRK 1000 RC Ten 78 is certainly a beauty of a machine, as you would expect from a bike mirroring that of an MV Agusta, who certainly steal the show in most motorcycle showrooms. The 1000cc bike is said to make around 144bhp and weighs just under 200 kilograms. The frame is built with steel tubing and aluminium elements, which again, appears to be inspired by MV Agusta models, as does the aluminium single-sided swing arm. There is no confirmation yet as to which markets the bike will be made available in, or when that will take place, while the SRK 921 RR is only available in China at the moment.
The Superveloce replica is expected to come in at around 130bhp while also consisting of a V4 engine, as is the case of the ‘real’ MV Agusta Superveloce. It will also feature the classic LED lights at the front and rear of the bike, and a chassis consisting of a single-sided swing arm.
