Pirelli to Become Sole MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 Tyre Supplier
The deal has been signed and from 2027 Pirelli will supply tyres for the three most prestigious Grand Prix motorcycle racing classes

Pirelli will become the official tyre supplier to MotoGP from 2027 as a new five-year deal has been signed.
The move will see Pirelli supply the tyres for MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 until 2031 inclusively, with the switch to the Italian brand’s hoops coinciding with sweeping technical regulation changes.
The move will also see MotoE bikes rolling on Pirelli rubber, meaning the entire Grand Prix paddock - including most of the Road to MotoGP feeder series - will be supplied by the Italian manufacturer.

Michelin currently supplies the tyres for the premier class, while Pirelli supplies Moto2 and Moto3, after the latter switched from Dunlop at the end of the 2023 season. World Superbike is also supplied by Pirelli, meaning, along with its presence in the Formula 1 World Championship, it can now be thought of as the most prominent motorsport tyre maker on the planet.
Michelin will remain the exclusive supplier for MotoGP and MotoE until the end of the current technical regulations, at the close of the 2026 season.
