Team manager Mick Shanley commented: ‘It is a big honour for our team to be involved with the official Yamaha project for the new R1. It has been fantastic to be a part of this event and to have the launch hosted at the headquarters of Yamaha's MotoGP team shows how highly-regarded the new R1 is to the factory.
