Sheene to start racing in the UK? Bring it on!!!

FREDDIE SHEENE, son of Britain's greatest ever racer, the late Barry Sheene, has stated he wants to start motorcycle racing in the UK, says the times online

Four years after the death of his Dad, the 18-year-old wants to travel to Britain to race in a junior championship.

"He's already got pins in his legs and arms, so he's got a bit of Barry in him," Steve Parrish, the BBC commentator, former racer and a close family friend, said. "He's quite old to be starting, but I've been out with him and he's got the talent. He'd have to begin at the bottom, in a one-make series like the Virgin Cup, but he's determined."

Here's hoping...
