THE San Carlo Gresini Honda team has been launched ahead of the 2012 MotoGP season unveiling a new black livery instead of the standard white.
For the 2012 season, the Gresini team will be unlike any other on the grid with the Honda RC213V of Alvaro Bautista joined a CRT entry, as Michele Pirro will ride an FTR bike powered by a CBR1000RR engine tuned by Ten Kate.
The black colours will be used by the MotoGP pair as a mark of respect to the late Marco Simoncelli.
Gresini Honda will also field a new Moto3 entry with 16-year-old Niccolo Antonelli, alongside the Moto2 outfit of Ratthapark Wilairot and Gino Rea.
