Isle of Man TT 2024 dates announced
The Isle of Man TT 2024 dates are out, and now all we need to do is pray for good weather!
IT seems like as soon as one TT event is finished, we instantly start thinking of the next, mind-blowing two weeks of racing, exploring, partying and riding bikes. And today is the day you can begin counting down those days, as the TT 2024 dates have been confirmed!
The races will begin on the Monday bank holiday (27th May), with free practice and qualifying being the first on-track action. The curtain closer for 2024 will be the traditional Senior race, scheduled to take place on Saturday 8th June 2024.
The schedule for the coming year will take much the same shape as it did this year, with evening qualifying filling the 28th to 30th of May, and an afternoon of qualifying taking place on Friday the 31st. The following week will see the teams taking to the track for race week, with the first action starting with the Monster Energy Supersport TT Race 1 and 3wheeling.media Sidecar TT Race 1, both taking place on Saturday 1 June.
Sunday the 2nd of June will see the first ‘big bikes’ take to the course, with the RST Superbike TT Race headlining the day's on-track action.
With Monday being a rest day, your next racing comes in the form of the RL360 Superstock TT Race 1, and the Carole Nash Supertwin TT Race 1, both taking place on Tuesday the 4th of June. Wednesday the 5th will see two and three-wheeled action again with the sidecars and supersports having their second races, before a rest day on Thursday the 6th.
Finally, the most important two days of the motorcycle road racing calendar begin on Friday the 7th of June, with the second races for the Superstocks and Supertwins, and the main event, the Milwaukee Senior TT Race closing the show on Saturday the 8th of June.
