Leon Haslam rumoured to Ten Kate Honda
Haslam rumoured to have signed with Ten Kate Honda for 2013
ACCORDING to a trusted source Leon Haslam is rumoured to have signed a deal with Ten Kate Honda for the 2013 World Superbike championship.
Haslam finds himself out of BMW's plans for next year, as the German manufacturer realigns its WSBK factory effort to the Italia squad, with Ben Spies currently the favourite to partner Marco Melandri.
After weeks of negotiations Haslam will be joining the Ten Kate team. The Briton has previous experience on a Fireblade after campaigning them in 2008 for HM Plant in British Superbikes and Stiggy Honda in the 2009 WSBK season.
There is a question mark next to who will be his team-mate, as further silly season speculation has current Ten Kate rider Jonathan Rea attached to a transfer to MotoGP with the satellite Gresini team.
