Triumph Speed Triple Owners Invited to Celebrate 30-Year Anniversary
Triumph has extended invitations to all Speed Triple owners to come and celebrate the 30-year anniversary of the popular model
The event will run all day on 30 November and is open to both present and former owners of a Triumph Speed Triple motorcycle.
Triumph Factory Visitor Experience will set the for fans of the Triumph Speed Triple to come and celebrate the British firm’s special anniversary along with the chance to browse a display of customised and accessorised Speed Triples from the last 30 years.
Owners of distinctive and unique Speed Triples have been invited to participate as Official Exhibitors, which will allow them to display their motorcycles as part of the exhibition and receive an exclusive 30th Anniversary Gift Pack. Owners can register their interest in exhibiting here.
What was Triumph’s idea of a ‘hooligan’ bike, the first Speed Triple models rolled off the production line in 1994 and it was clearly the first real foray into the aggressive naked market.
11 years later Triumph then introduced the 2005 Speed Triple 1050 which it claims “reset the benchmark” as it became a motorcycle tailored for track riding. Arguably the best version of the Speed Triple ever made, 2021 saw the debut of the 1200 RS model which received an even greater aggressive appearance and an all-new three-cylinder engine.
It also features a higher power-to-weight ratio than previous models before the 1200 RR model landed just one year later. The 1200 RS is Triumph’s most agile, powerful and fastest Speed Triple ever created and produces 177.5bhp at 10750rpm 92.2Ib ft of torque at 9000rpm.
The event is scheduled to run from 9:30am until 4pm and tickets through Eventbrite are free.
