Behold the ultimate man cave and stunning classic motorcycle collection
A video has been posted on YouTube showing the classic motorcycle collection of Beno Rodi and it is stunning
WE would all have more bikes if we could/our other halves would let us. But this collection of classic motorcycles and memorabilia belonging to Beno Rodi is the stuff that dreams are made of!
The collection is located in Georgia in the US and Beno Rodi the custodian of this stunning collection. He’s the son of Al Rodi, an Indian Motorcycle dealer for greater Atlanta. Over the years Al Rodi operated various shops around Atlanta devoted to everything from AJS to Zundapp, but focused on the English marques including Royal Enfield and re-badged "Indian-Enfields".
After the Japanese factories transformed the motorcycle market in the 1970s, the old British bikes and parts inventories were put in storage to make room for the new offerings from Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki.
Beno Rodi classic British and American motorcycle collection
Today, Al Rodi's son Beno (a talented off-road racer who also competed at the TT) has taken all of the former inventory from British bike shops collected over the course of many years where they now reside in a warehouse near Winder, Georgia outside Atlanta. He is involved in a variety of restoration projects as well as historical racers. Beno has himself been involved in motorcycle racing since the 1960s and currently campaigns a selection of Royal Enfield Bullets in flat track, road racing, and trials events.
The video is like a roll call of the best of British, with Manx Nortons littering the warehouse, and custom-built MX bikes with BSA frames and CCM engines lining up next to V-twin Indians built specifically for flat-track racing events.
It’s a long video, but well worth a watch. What I’d give to spend a few hours in that place!
