Deal: Save £4,300 on a Kawasaki Ninja e-1 Electric Hybrid
This brand-new pre-registered Kawasaki Ninja e-1 electric hybrid is on offer for £3,395, but you will need to be quick as the huge savings offer ends soon
Kawasaki is one of several big names to move into the electric sector in recent years, and this Ninja e-1 hybrid, brand-new and pre-registered, is available for less than half its RRP price.
You could get your hands on the 2024 model for as little as £3,395 which is £4,300 below its market value. Kawasaki has an offer of its own on the electric hybrid motorcycle, however, the best value is being presented by Peterborough-based dealer Wheels Motorcycles.
The E-1, which was first showcased as a prototype at the 2019 EICMA show, went into production during September 2023. In October of that same year, the first e-1 and Z e-1 models were already seen arriving in UK dealers.
Both the E-1 and Z E-1 electric bikes fit into the brand’s 125cc equivalent category and feature the same all-electric powertrain. The main differentiation between the Ninja e-1 and Z e-1 is the category-specific aesthetic, as the Ninja takes on a faired, sports bike approach, while the Z comprises a naked approach.
Featuring a silver livery with green accents, the 2024 e-1 model produces 11.8bhp and 29.8 Ib ft of torque. As with its Ninja sibling, the e-1’s battery offers a capacity of 30Ah. With a nominal voltage of 50.4V, the maximum energy that can be stored in a pair of batteries sits at 3.024kWh.
It’s not uncommon for electric bikes to come with a quoted energy consumption, but Kawasaki quotes 49Wh/km, which suggests a range of 38.3 miles, although Kawasaki also quotes 44.7 miles in WMTC Class 1 conditions. Each battery weighs 11.5kg and takes three and three-quarter hours to charge.
