Triumph Tiger Sport 660 Gets Advanced Technical Update for 2025
Following the new Tiger Sport 800, Triumph has given its new 660 model an advanced technical update for 2025 and it will be available in dealers as early as January
A new riding mode, updated cruise control and ABS has been added to the new 2025 Triumph Tiger Sport 660 model for just £50 more than the previous bike.
The new 2025 model, which will be available in UK dealers in January, has an RRP of £8,995 and comprises a liquid-cooled three-cylinder 660cc engine capable of producing 90 per cent of its peak torque across the entire rev range.
Its power unit delivers 81bhp at 10250rpm, while it maxes out with a peak torque figure of 47.2lb ft at 6250rpm. The bike is Euro5+ compliant and is also A2-licence friendly, while fuel is positioned inside a 17.2-litre tank, with service intervals coming every 10,000 miles.
The new Tiger Sport 660 keeps a very similar appearance to the first model produced in 2022, and it's the electronics that have undergone the biggest changes. In order to provide riders with greater safety, the new bike now includes three riding modes after gaining another ‘Sport’ mode for improved throttle control.
With the updated electronics such as the ride-by-wire throttle, the new Tiger Sport 660 also features cruise control as standard. Another new addition also includes cornering ABS and switchable traction control, but that’s not all as it also features full LED lighting for the first time.
Alongside the LED system is a half-LCD, half-TFT display like the previous model, which offers mobile connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
What’s unchanged is the 41mm Showa upside-down forks with 150mm of travel on the front, while a Showa monoshock at the rear comes with adjustable preload. Following on from the Tiger Sport 800, the new 660 model consists of the same tubular steel perimeter frame as its bigger family member, which possesses a 798cc engine. The new 660 comes with a quickshifter as standard and has a wet weight of 207kg.
