Harley-Davidson is leaning on the win on Sunday, sell on Monday ethos with its latest model, as the King of the Baggers series inspires the new CVO Road Glide RR.

The bike, which instantly becomes Harley’s most bonkers softail to date, leans heavily on the Road Glides that are campaigned in the KOTB series, both aesthetically and technically. They are though fully road-legal, setting them apart from the track-only Indian Challenger RR which was announced in 2023.

The heart of the bike is a thumping Screamin' Eagle 131ci (2,146cc) engine, which H-D claims can pump out an incredible 150bhp and 150lb ft of torque. To tease all that power out of a large capacity V-twin, Harley has utilised the lessons learned in the KOTB series, with the new engine boasting pushrod-operation, overhead valves with hydraulic, self-adjusting lifters and four valves per cylinder. The engine is fed by sequential port fuel injection and breathes through a full titanium two-into-one exhaust system from Akrapovič.

Like the engine, the chassis of the new CVO Road Glide RR is as trick as it gets, with Öhlins supplying its fully adjustable FGR fork at the front, with a pair of Öhlins remote reservoir shocks taking care of the rear. Mated to the suspension are equally high-spec brakes, with Brembo monoblock calipers joining Brembo’s racing full floater T-drive front rotors.

One of the most noticeable features of the Harley KOTB bikes is the swingarm, and I’m happy to report that it is a feature which is carried over onto the customer bikes. Suspending the rear axle is a one-piece billet aluminium swingarm which seems to be identical to the item found on the KOTB racing machines.

As it stands the CVO RR is only showing on the H-D USA website, and there is no mention of if the bike will arrive in other markets. We can tell you that should you want to snap up one of the US-spec machines, you’ll need deep pockets, with US outlets reporting a price of $110,000!
