Ducati Desmo450 MX UK Price Announced
Ducati’s Desmo450 MX will be landing in the UK this summer - and the price might surprise you!
The new Ducati Desmo450 MX will be arriving in selected UK dealerships in June this year, with seven showrooms taking on the distribution and servicing of the bikes.
For those looking to get their hands on the first MX bike from the Borgo Panigale, the RRP for the Desmo450 MX is £11,245. The dealerships taking on the bike are Ducati Cambridge, Ducati Leeds, Ducati Preston, Ducati North London, Chris Walker Motorcycles, GT Motorcycles and Millsport Motorcycles. Ducati states that each dealership is currently undergoing technical training and assessment ready for the new model landing in the showrooms.
Alongside the bikes landing in dealers, Ducati has also announced a new Ducati MX Experience to provide fans with the chance to test the new machine. Running the courses is Barry Johnson, a highly experienced motocross trainer who has been running motocross schools and experience centres for twenty years.
Coinciding with the launch into UK showrooms, the Desmo450 MX will also be lining up at the starting gate in the Motocross World Championship for the first time. It follows Alessandro Lupino’s successful season in the Italian Prestige MX1 national championship. Lining up on the world stage in MXGP will be the experienced pairing of Jeremy Seewer and Mattia Guadagnini.
The 450 isn’t going to be the only off-road racing product from the Italian brand, with Ducati claiming that development of the Desmo250 MX prototype is continuing, with Alessandro Lupino and Antonio Cairoli set to take on the Italian MX2 Championship on the new machine this year.
